91db New Horizon ‘Rescue Me’

91db was formed, by a collective of session musicians. Including Producer/Jungalist drummer Paul Johnson, guitarist Si Hayden and headed by Emmanuel Henry. Working towards one main goal, from the DJ too the band.

They focused there sound by working with a eclectic mix of featuring vocalists and session musicians, to form a live UK dance act that brings a unique and focused style to the dance floor. Extensively touring the UK supporting other live dance acts such as, Dread Zone, Example and Grace Jones at events and festivals.

91db’s highly acclaimed first album “Waiting” featuring Bella D, drawing influences from early pioneers of dub reggae and liquid D&B. It has received glowing reviews by Future Music & Sound on Sound.

Moving forward 91db restructured the dynamics of the band with additional member Dave Thomson DJ/producer aka 42Floor to bring a fresh dance floor prospective to the band.

Gaining new focus 91db returned to the studio a write their second album, again using the influences of the band members to embark on a journey of heavy synth modulations and live instrumentation

With expanding knowledge of the dance scene band members Paul Johnson and David Thomson set up Dbeats Records, collaborating and remixing artists such as – Panjabi MC, Trilla, Offlicence and The Trinity Band.

Touring with their new album “Horizon” featuring guest vocalists out January 2014. 91db continues to gain momentum performing outstanding live high-energy liquid drum & bass.

Massive 91db Remix by The Trinity Band ‘Stars’

The Trinity Band is a five piece musical group founded in 2004 from Derby, England. The band consists of Rukus, Dwaine Hayden, Craig Dawkins, James Dawkins and Pete Sharpe. They asked 91db for a remix of there forth coming single ‘Stars’ out this summer which they certainly did deliver for the dynamic Derby outfit.
